Brand-new Gym
Filed under: Uncategorized; No CommentsI am so excited about a brand-new gym opening up this October. It is a full service gym that offers everything from rock climbing to the usual- weight lifting and cardio to all sorts of sports. That is what I am really looking forward too. I heard that during the lunch hour there are always basketball games going on that you can just join. This is perfect for someone like me who loves group sports but can’t afford to make a committment of being somewhere every week at the same time.
I love how healthclubs are more laid back than adult sport leagues. I remember being part of a soccer league that met once a week for games. If you missed a game you were out of luck. You would think with schedules being so busy and families with children, etc. that they would give you some slack. Not the league I was on. That is why I am so glad this new gym is opening no more of the pressure.

This doesn’t happen too often, but when it does it really causes chaos. What I am talking about is getting a flat tire! Usually you are on a busy road with or without a shoulder and usually without a gas station in sight. I got really lucky this time around because I was able to drive right up to a gas station that was out in the middle of nowhere.
I was out driving and everything was going fine unti I tried to make a turn. As I turned my car ran over a big rock that was on the dirt road. I continued to drive although I knew I had run over something. Once I got about a mile down the road I knew something was wrong by the sound my car was making. Thank goodness that I was able to pull into this gas station on the side of the road and change my tire. All in a days work as they say.

The other day at work a coworker and I were talking about money and the increase in prices that has happened recently. The subject came up because she was trying to apply for a new credit card. I told her how credit cards are the only thing helping me get by these days. I usually need to use them at the gas pump, etc. and then I pay them off with my next paycheck. She told me she didn’t have one and I was in complete shock.
I honestly do not know how people can survive without them. Credit cards are the best and quickest short term loans you could ask for. Take a look at accept credit cards and see for yourself how beneficial credit cards can be.

My life has been really crazy this past month. Part of what has made it crazy is that within the last 2 weeks I have had two funerals to go to. The funny thing about funerals are that they make you really take a look at your life since it wont last forever. I know that sounds depressing but it really is true.
Sitting through both of these funerals I felt anxious about making some changes in my life. Nothing too drastic, but some changes that will make me feel good about what I am accomplishing with my life. I have already taken a step in the right direction by volunteering with a homeless shelter. I will blog about updates on that and how it is going in the near future.

If you are anything like me than you can understand the expression short on cash. In fact a couple of my friends don’t even have a credit card yet. So I have had to refer them to Credit Card Hub because they understand the expression short on cash. This website is great it offers so many types of credit cards and so many great offers. My favorite is the Chase cash back card. This card offers actual cash back for every dollar you spend. Then on top of that you get 10% cash back for online purchases. What other card can beat that offer? The best part is the 0% interest rate for the first year.
I signed up for this card and all my friends did too. The only thing you have to be careful about is the interest rate changing after the first 12 months. Now it seems like a year is so far off, but it passes by sooner than you think. I love the website www.cardhub.com and I think they are wonderful. They help you get by until your next payday, but that is how they should be used. I think my friends have gotten into trouble before with their cards once the grace period ended and the interest rate went up. So my words of advise to you use it as a short term loan and take advantage of that great 0% interest rate.
