I don’t know what it is but there are few places I like to go to more than the Harley Dealership. I was just in there today and could have stayed all day long. A lot of my family members ride Harleys so it is always great to go see the new items they have. Plus looking at all the bikes is great too.
Last year my wife and I went down to Daytona Beach for Bike Week. That was one experience that I am glad I didn’t miss. The trip down was long and hard, but once we got there it was great. We ended up riding through a snowstorm, a rainstorm and some heavy wind. Reaching Daytona in mid-March was wonderful though. That is one experience that I will never forget.
Last week unfortunately we had a sudden death happen in our family. It happened on Wednesday night and shocked all of us. It happened to my sister-in-laws husband. He was only 53 years-old and in pretty good health as well. How ironic that a blog for life insurance should come up at this time. The whole family has been talking about having a will ready, having an insurance policy for your family ready, etc. I know death is a hard subject to think about but the truth is it could happen at anytime without warning.
Since the death I have been researching different life insurance companies. I found a great one called mortgage protection insurance. It offers so many benefits to those that are left behind when a family member dies. Some of which include allowing you to keep your home when a spouse, etc. dies. That is amazing I have never heard of a universal life insurance company that offers such a great service. That topic has come up so much this past week and my husband and I have already been asked about helping his sister out with the mortgage payments. Too bad we didn’t know about mortgage insurance sooner.
The other day a buddy of mine was telling me the funniest story. I still think about it every once in a while and laugh. What had happened before I heard the story from him was that I told him about finding a turtle out in our back yard. It was a box turtle and I picked it up and brought it inside to show my wife. She was scared at first, but thought it was fine as long as it was outside.
After I told the story my buddy Pat told me how years ago they had a dog named Bud. He was always outside digging in the grass and bringing all kinds of things in. Once his wife saw that Bud had what she thought was a rock in his mouth. She took it out thinking he might swallow it. Little did she know that the rock was a turtle. Once the head came out the rest was history.
I finally did it I got my first payday loan ever! I am so proud of myself because my paycheck doesn’t come in until Friday and I was short about $200. So instead of getting a penalty fee on my credit card payment I decided to get a loan for a couple of days and take care of my bill on time. I couldn’t believe how easy it was for me to do. You just go to Payday Loan and fill out a quick, easy form and you are done.
I was truly surprised with the quick, convenient, and professional way they handle your loan. There was no hassle and no 5 day waiting period. The internet made it so simple. I didn’t have to read through a book and sign 15 different pieces of paper. It truly was an easy and convenient way to get a loan when you need money right away.
If you work full-time for a big company let’s face it there are going to be moments of downtime. Frankly I love the downtime. The more the better for me, but when I look around often times I see my coworkers going stir crazy. Which is what happened today when Kevin decided to walk around and ask all of us questions.
I like Kevin but he gets into these moods where he just starts asking unimportant questions for no reason. The one he came up with today was what food could you not live without. Fortunately for me that was easy to answer because I love peanut butter and eat it everyday. For my wife ice cream was her #1 food. Why is this important I don’t really know but I thought you would like to know what happens at the office all day long.
