I just started a new job tonight at a health club. I am working there on a very part-time basis. I already work full-time but I just needed something to supplement my income. It is a pretty scary thing when one full-time job doesn’t pay all the bills. Anyhow the job is great I really love it!
Of course I just started so we will see how it goes. So far everyone seemed really sweet and helpful. The best part of the whole gig is that I get a free membership to work-out whenever I want. The club is open 24/7 so that is great. There is a restaurant, 2 pools, a hot tub, etc. you name it this club has got it. I cannot wait to go back in tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted on how it is going.
I love the Fall and one of the reasons why is the Halloween Holiday. I think it is so much fun to dress up and act like a child again one day out of the year. I also love to send out presents and candy to my little nieces that live out of state. This Halloween I have decided to send special gifts out to my parents and sister as well. Although they are all grown up I needed an excuse to send them gifts. They have been so good to me over this past year and I want to thank them I figured Halloween was the perfect opportunity.
I went on the halloween flowers website initially because I heard that they have great gifts for every occasion. They were right. They had gift baskets and flowers for every holiday and every occasion you can imagine. Besides that the gifts can be delivered that very same day!
Talk about having passion for your favorite sport. I just read the story about a man named Trevor who decided to have one of his fingers amputated instead of having surgery in order to continue playing football. He plays for a college out in Colorado and decided to have his injured pinky finger partially removed so he could continue to play throughout this season.
During the interview he said that the doctors told him he needed to be rational and think about what he was doing. He told them to cut it off and hasn’t regretted that decision. He said he would rather play football than have to give up his favorite sport due to an injury. I think it’s great he was able to make this decision without any regret.
Last weekend I flew up to Detroit to see my family and to go to a wedding. My parents have lived in Michigan all of their lives and have no intention on moving further south. They are both retired now and hate the winters up there. The funny thing is once you live in the mid-west you never leave. My dad’s mom is still alive and lives their as well as all their cousins, aunts, and uncles. What that means is that they drive down to Florida every January for a month or two to get out of the snow and cold. We were just discussing it when I was in town as to where they were going to stay this year.
I searched the internet and found some great websites that offered vacation rentals for incredible rates. One site in particular that stood out was http://www.vacationrentals.com/. It is very easy to navigate through. You just click on the state and then the city where you are hoping to vacation to. It is that easy. I sent an email to my parents right after looking at the site. The prices are affordable and the properties to rent are all over. Go to Pensacola Beach rentals for more information.
