I just got done reading CNN about the terrorist attacks in India. I have been trying to follow the story but a lot of it is finally coming out now since the terror was finally over yesterday. Today they had people who were in the hotel-the Taj Majal during the attacks giving accounts of what they heard and saw. One man in particular that spoke on the news gave his account in detail about what he had just experienced.
I was amazed when I was watching him speak in such a calm tone about what he went through. He said it started as loud noises similar to fireworks. His wife and himself were in their room and didn’t think much of it. Then they got a phone call stating that there were gunmen in the hotel and hotel security was taking care of it. He remained under his bed emailing friends and family with the door locked for about 16 hours. Finally at that point officials were going through the halls rescuing people. I know about 200 were killed but thank God it is over and the rescue has started.

Are we all feeling this debt crisis that is going on around us? Or are the holidays approaching too fast and it is reminding us all of the expense that is going to accumulate. Either way there is a big problem that is occurring and I can’t seem to hold a conversation with anyone without the subject of money coming up. Even today at work a coworker told me that she and her husband are struggling because he lost his job. On top of that they have 2 children, on of which is a four month old baby.
I started to do some research online to see if there was any help out there for all of us. The stress is about killing me, and then I found this website called debt consolidation Not only does this website help consolidate bills and get you out of debt but it also answers questions about your current situation. How many debt consolidation programs offer that service? One question that was asked involved a judgment that had been placed on this person over 10 years ago and a collection agency was still calling about it. This site offers so much help and so many solutions to the problems we are all facing with our debt. Take a look for yourself at www.bills.com.

Tomorrow is the big day. The holiday I wait for all year long. I love Thanksgiving even more than Christmas. I think part of that is due to being able to see my whole family without any stress of buying gifts, etc. Thanksgiving really comes down to being thankful for everyone and everything in your life. Plus all the great food and football.
This year my wife and I are actually putting on Thanksgiving. Which means making sure everyone is happy and well fed. It is so exciting to be helping out with a Thanksgiving meal with my extended family. Some of which are coming in all the way from Tennessee to be with us. I can’t wait I will fill you in on later blogs as to how it went.

This past Halloween my wife and I dressed up as police officers. At first we were going to do the ball and chain criminal and cop but decided to both dress up like cops. My wife went to school to become a cop but ended up going in a different direction so it was fun for her to act like one for the night. We found our costumes online at Surefire.
This site has everything you could possibly want related to police clothes, gear, backpacks, etc. We were in full uniform and fooled people at the Halloween party we went to. They actually thought we were real cops coming to break up the party. People started scrambling around the house when we showed up. See for yourself at www.lapolicegear.com.

The other day at work I had a very interesting conversation with one of my coworkers. I don’t know how the conversation came up but it was about Christianity and Religion. She told me that she wasn’t a believer but felt that there was some power over her and her life. She seemed to like the Budhist believes and favored that way of thinking. I tried to stay open minded and listen to her argument but couldn’t understand how she came to believe in Budhism. The main reason that I couldn’t understand was because she told me that she had read the Bible cover to cover and that that was one of the reasons why she was not a believer. I found that hard to believe that someone who read through the entire Bible would call themselves egnostic. That is how she refers to herself. We are all entitled to our own opinions, beliefs, etc. and that is how it will always be.
