I cannot believe the story I just read on CNN. It was about a man who answered an ad on craigslist for a babysitting job. I don’t know but personally I would rather have a woman or girl as our babysitter or nanny. I know that sounds sexist but I just think that women have that motherly instinct that men do not. Anyhow a job was put on craigslist for a babysitter for a 2 year-old little girl. It was answered by a 20 something man and he was hired. Only to find out that he used the little girl for pornographic pictures. I mean there are some horrible things that go on in this world but this has got to be one of the worse crimes people can commit. I wonder what kind of sentence these types of crimes get; I hope it’s harsh.
A friend of mine runs a store front ebay store. He has a great location and people stop by all the time to get rid of things they no longer want or need. It’s a great idea and he is making great money off of it. The only thing is he is only reaching local customers and felt that he needed some web presence to bring in more business. He told me that through his research he found www.webhostingreport.com. This site is amazing it gives you steps, advice, compares different web hosting companies and so much more.
It pretty much takes all the guess work out of web hosting. Especially for my friend who is a beginner. I went on the site to take a look at what he was talking about and found the beginners guide to web hosting. It sounded easy enough so I decided to give it a try myself. Since then I have created my own website on the internet and I am making more money than I had ever imagined for virtually doing nothing but sitting behind my computer. Take a look for yourself at Web Hosting Report.
I think that mystery shopping is such an interesting industry. I don’t completely understand it or what the implications are for someone who ets a bad review from a mystery shopper. All I know is that every job I have ever had we had people come in to shop us. I know I have been shopped myself at least once or twice too.
I have been thinking about this a lot lately because just recently we had a mystery shopper come into my job. Of course it happened on the day I was working. No one knows at this time who got shopped but I’m sure we will all find out real soon. All I heard was that the shop was not good, but are they ever?! The jobs some people do I just don’t understand them at all.
I was afraid of starting my own business because I wan’t sure how successful it would be. Then one day I realized that starting my own business was something I always wanted to do. To be honest with you one of my big concerns was the income coming in. I thought I would have to live month to month, week to week and that the money would not always be a steady stream of income.
That is why I am so thankful for companies like onlinecheck.com. Sure you can go to a bank and get a business loan as well, but you will have a lot less hassle if you go to onlinecheck.com. That great thing about applying for a loan with them is that it is fast, easy, and there are no closing cost or fees. See for yourself at credit card processing you wont regret it.
I heard on the news today that we only have 3 more weeks until Christmas Day! I can’t believe how fast time goes by. It seems like just yesterday we were taking our tree down from last Christmas. Tonight also marks the big celebration in downtown D.C. The lighting of the Christmas Tree that sits across from the White House. We were planning on heading down to watch but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for us. It has been raining since 7:00 P.M. Hopefully Sunday night will be much better, our plan is to head down then to see all the Christmas Trees. I’ll keep you posted and fill you in on how it goes. Until then goodnight.
