von Beethoven

I saw an interesting movie this morning about one of the greatest composers vonBeethoven.  The story chronicles his life from when he was first starting out producing music until his death.  The intersting parts included his references to God and his relationship with a young woman named Anna.  I don’t know much about his life or if parts of the movie were just added to make it more interesting, but I have to say that now I am interested in finding out more about Beethoven.  In the movie it mentioned that at one point he had lost his hearing as well.  I don’t think I have ever heard that before.  I am going to do further research and hopefully read his biography to get a better idea of his struggles and passions.

Sea World

What could be better than a trip to Sea World in Orlando, Florida!  I know times are tough and the economy doesn’t look like it is going to shape up anytime soon, but those are the best times to take a trip.  These are the times that we need vacations the most.  It may sound crazy, but a vacation is a great stress reliever and what better time than now do we need to relax and unwind.  Plus with the winter temperatures who doesn’t want to go to Florida.

If you are looking to book on-line or purchase tickets go to discount sea world tickets.  It’s a quick and easy way to get your tickets without having to fight the crowds.  Plus right now if you purchase tickets for a limited time you will get your 2nd day at Sea World for free.  Sea World is one of the most popular attractions in Orlando.  Last year when we were there our children didn’t stop talking about all the fun they were having.  Then months later they were still mentioning the wonderful vacation to Florida to visit Mickey Mouse and see Sea World.  What are you waiting for?  Get on-line now and make this holiday season even more special for your family and yourself.

Craigslist

I cannot believe the story I just read on CNN.  It was about a man who answered an ad on craigslist for a babysitting job.  I don’t know but personally I would rather have a woman or girl as our babysitter or nanny.  I know that sounds sexist but I just think that women have that motherly instinct that men do not.  Anyhow a job was put on craigslist for a babysitter for a 2 year-old little girl.  It was answered by a 20 something man and he was hired.  Only to find out that he used the little girl for pornographic pictures.  I mean there are some horrible things that go on in this world but this has got to be one of the worse crimes people can commit.  I wonder what kind of sentence these types of crimes get; I hope it’s harsh.

Internet Web Hosting

A friend of mine runs a store front ebay store.  He has a great location and people stop by all the time to get rid of things they no longer want or need.  It’s a great idea and he is making great money off of it.  The only thing is he is only reaching local customers and felt that he needed some web presence to bring in more business.  He told me that through his research he found www.webhostingreport.com.  This site is amazing it gives you steps, advice, compares different web hosting companies and so much more.

It pretty much takes all the guess work out of web hosting.  Especially for my friend who is a beginner.  I went on the site to take a look at what he was talking about and found the beginners guide to web hosting.  It sounded easy enough so I decided to give it a try myself.  Since then I have created my own website on the internet and I am making more money than I had ever imagined for virtually doing nothing but sitting behind my computer.  Take a look for yourself at Web Hosting Report.

Mystery Shopping

I think that mystery shopping is such an interesting industry.  I don’t completely understand it or what the implications are for someone who ets a bad review from a mystery shopper.  All I know is that every job I have ever had we had people come in to shop us.  I know I have been shopped myself at least once or twice too.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately because just recently we had a mystery shopper come into my job.  Of course it happened on the day I was working.  No one knows at this time who got shopped but I’m sure we will all find out real soon.  All I heard was that the shop was not good, but are they ever?!  The jobs some people do I just don’t understand them at all.
