There is a new exhibit in Atlanta that allows you to experience what it would be like to be blind. I think this is such a great idea for those of us who take for granted everything we have. During the exhibit you end up experiencing what it would be like to be blind for an hour. There is an actual blind man there that runs the exhibit. Him and his wife are both blind and they wanted others to experience for a short time what it is like to be blind.
The participants ended up walking around the room and touching different things. People were walking into each other and weren’t sure about what they were feeling. There was a bowl of pasta out as well as other things. The man who runs the exhibit told the participants to be sure to use all of your other senses in order to get around. For a blind person his sense of smell, hearing and touch are extremely important.
It is nice to know that there are still some companies out there that will offer loans in this downward spiraling economy. Not only that, but some of these companies are out to help other companies that may be spiraling downward by offering them services like ways to process credit card payments. Today a lot of people are holding onto their money because they are not sure of what the future holds. So having access to credit card payments is crucial.
I read in the news the other day that around 5 million companies will be closing their doors due to the changing economy. I also heard that some parents are skipping meals so that their children can eat. That is a scary thing to have happening in the United States. How can we keep these companies, especially small ones running strong? One answer comes from industries such as banks and other financial institutions that help with the funding of such companies. One in particular known for it’s excellent customer service, fast approval, no closing cost or fees, and less stringent requirements is merchant services. Their fast, friendly and ready to help you. Today is the 2nd day of the New Year and everything is back to normal. Work schedules and mall hours, etc. are all back on track. I love the holidays but I always get confused when things are closed down due to the holidays. It just shows you how much we are spoiled here in the U.S. Last night I wanted to stop at the pharmacy for a prescription. Unfortunately for me it was closed because of the holiday. Like I said I do love the holidays, but I love the fact that the grocery stores, the gym, the pharmacy, etc. are all open 24 hours too.
