I couldn’t help but write a blog about the woman in California who just had 8 babies. Eight babies at one time! How could anyone manage should a hectic time without losing it. I’ve heard of women who have one or two at a time and can’t manage that. Hopefully this woman has a lot of family and friends who will help her along.
After that shock came something even more shocking. Not only is she going to be nursing and taken care of 8 infants but she has 6 at home already. That means she is going to have 14 children to take care of. On top of that she lives in a 2 bedroom home. I can’t wait to hear where this story takes us. This woman is going to need a lot of prayers, patience and support.

I love the Superbowl. If there is anything that I am determined to watch year after year it’s the superbowl. I can’t wait for Sunday night. Last year I had to work on Sunday night of the superbowl so I kept checking in on cnn.com about the score and what was happening on the field. Let me tell you though it’s not quite the same as actually watching the game. I have been looking forward to this weekend for weeks the Cardinals and the Steelers. I haven’t put any bets down yet but I do have a favorite team. Let’s just say it’s going to be a great game and may the best team win!
What a wonderful invention the scooter has been! Having two very active and very independent parents who possibly will need a scooter one day makes me appreciate these wonderful products. Both of my parents are in there mid-seventies and both have stated that they have no intention of ever going to live in an assisted living facility. Knowing that products such as scooters are around to help older adults allows me to sleep better at night knowing that if something ever did happen to either one of them they would still be able to live independent lives and be able to get around.
The scooterstore.com is a website completely devoted to these products. Any and every question you may have regarding price, convenience, etc. can be found at www.thescooterstore.com.
I just finished reading the story about the man who killed his family and himself over the loss of his job. Obviously there were other things that came into play as well but the final straw seemed to be the fact that he was let go from his job. His beautiful family of five kids, his wife and himself all ended up dead because of the hard economic crisis this country is going through. It’s so sad that people end up so desperate that they take it to extremes.
I never thought in my lifetime that I would end up living in a time where jobs would become difficult to find, houses right around the corner from me would be going into foreclosure, and homeless people would be walking the streets. I remember when I was growing up and hearing my grandpa talk about the depression and how difficult things got for a few years. I really hope we don’t get to that point, but it really makes you appreciate everything you have. When things turn around lets only hope that our gratefulness for work and our generosity in helping others who are struggling will continue.
