My wife and I have this debate over the smartest thing to do. Is it to make money from working at home or to go to an office and work for somebody else. Of course we don’t agree on the answer and I’m not sure if there is a right answer. Her argument is that working from home is better because you have more freedom to work when you want and more say in how much money you make. Both of those being true my argument is that I wouldn’t put half as much time into working because I would have nobody there making sure I got my job done. Not to mention I think I would miss the social aspect that the office has and a home office doesn’t. The debate will go on and on, but one thing we did agree on is that it is better for her to work at home and for me to go into the office.

How many of us can honestly say that we live stress free lives? I’m sure not very many and not anybody that I know personally. With everything that we have at our disposal including cell phones, Ipods, computers, fax machines, laptops, etc. you would think that life would be virtually stress free. We essentially have everything we need at our fingertips. Unfortunately it seems as though the computer age has compounded the stress instead of alleviating it.
That’s why it’s good to know that there are people who realize this and who care about our wellbeing. One company in particular is the www.stressinstitute.com. This organization is compromised of doctors and other health care professionals that have our best interest at heart. They are here to help alleviate the stress caused by work, family, and all of our other responsibilities. The essential will help us find a balance in order to help prevent illnesses and other problems caused by stress. The company was founded 12 years ago and has been helping individuals ever since.

This has been such a strange winter. A couple days ago it snowed and today the temperature got up to about 58 degrees. Not to mention that November and December were unseasonably warm. It makes me wonder if the cold and flu season is hitting us a little bit later than normal this year.
Last week at work we all ended up calling in sick, leaving early or just coming to work and complaining the whole time about being sick. One day there were 3 managers out! I called in a couple of days and toda, a week later I’m still not feeling right. This is the 3rd or 4th year that I didn’t get a flu shot, but you can better believe that next year I am going to be one of the first in line.
