Senior Chat
This has got to be one of the best sites out there. The person who thought of this was a genius. I was just on the phone last night talking to a buddy who told me his grandfather was just put into a retirement community. Put in is the key phrase here he didn’t want to go and he has no desire whatsoever to be there. That’s when my friend had a great idea and told him he could get internet hook-up and be able to read the news, send emails, and stay in touch with people even if he no longer was able to drive or get around on his own.
Of course his grandfather loved the idea and now he has access to the world right from his room. He found the website Senior Chat Room and has quickly made a lot of friends. He has even found some old friends on here. The sight enables people who are older with similar interests to talk and become friends. Believe me it’s a lifesaver. I wish my grandma knew about this site when she was still living. She lived for company to come and talk to her. Her greatest desire was to have someone to talk to. I am so thankful for sites like this.
