Tax Time

I can’t believe it is already April.  It is getting closer and closer to tax time and I haven’t even started mine yet.  I guess I have about a week to get them done.  My wife was telling me the other night she hasn’t started hers either.  For some reason this year everyone seems to be procrastinating on getting their taxes done.  I don’t know if it’s the economy and the shortage of money or are we all so afraid that we wont have the money to pay our taxes so we are waiting until the very last minute.  I think our problem is a little bit of both.  I heard the best news the other day though.  On the radio a woman was talking about getting an extension on your taxes and also setting up payment plans to pay back to the government what you owe over time.  I never knew these options existed without a fee if you can pay it in full within 120 days.  I know I’ll be taking advantage of this option this year.

Relaxing

I have been taking sometime off these past couple of weeks to rest.  I haven’t planned any activiites and I have even taken some time off of work to just have a few days of R & R.  I didn’t realize how badly my body needed it.  There have been 2 days where I ended up sleeping until 1:00 PM.  Then there have also been days where I worked out and worked on the computer and just caught up on a lot of things that I had been setting aside.  I am feeling so much better and I’m ready to get back to work.  It’s a good thing too because I don’t think I have another day off for eight more days!

Questions about Sex

I remember listening to Dr. Ruth on the radio when I was about 12 or 13!  Everything I learned about sex I learned from her.  Her voice use to scare me half to death, but the things she talked about made it very difficult to change the radio station.  I loved her openness and her ideas about sex.  It helped me realize that I was normal even if I was dreaming about having sex 15-20 times a day.  She would talk about how masturbation was the most normal thing for young boys to do.  Anything that people would call about was 100% normal to Dr. Ruth.

I love the fact that nowadays there is a similar place to get your sex questions answered with a little bit more privacy.  You can now log on to your computer at sex and get all your questions answered.  This is a much needed site considering all the problems and situations young kids are getting themselves into today.  It’s nice to know that these kids have a place to go now and ask any and kinds of questions that they are facing.  They are definitely more likely to ask a stranger then a parent, and more importantly they are more likely to listen to a stranger than a parent.  What a great site and idea this is.

Learning Spanish

I don’t know how many years I’ve been saying I’m going to learn Spanish.  I need it for my job, I have friends that speak Spanish, and It’s just good to speak more than one language.  You look so much smarter on your resume.  Anyhow the reason I’m bringing this up is because I found the greatest thing on the internet.  It’s from Rosetta Stone and you install it on your computer to learn a foreign language.  It allows you to do 2 things at once which I love.  It will change your computer to show you websites, etc. all in Spanish.  It’s a great tool if you are interested in learning a foreign language.
