We had a terrible storm last night. The lightning and thunder woke me up and sent my dog scampering for the basement. It seems like every time we have a big thunderstorm she wants to go to her “safe place” in the basement – a little hidey hole right by the washer and dryer.

The lightning must have done some real damage nearby because my phone line went dead during the storm. This morning it was still not on, but thankfully we did have electricity and no property damage.

I know this is going to sound strange but I have been researching the best places and doctors that perform breast implants and plastic surgery.  I have a sister that is hoping to get silicone breast implants and I wanted to make sure that she found the right doctor and practice that would take good care of her.  I did an online search and found silicone breast implants.  This site not only offers good advice, but goes into detail about the procedures they perform.  On top of that they show a serious of before and after shots so you know exactly what to expect.  This site is so thorough and straightforward that there is no guess work involved.  After my endless hours of research this site is the absolute best one I found.  See for yourself at lookingyourbest.com and contact a center near you today.

Okay I understand that it is the beginning of May which usually reminds us of the beginning of Summer.  Not to mention the end of the school year.  So why is it so cold out still!  I am still wearing my heavy winter coat to work.  I know exactly what you are thinking- global warming.  Well it seems a little weird to me to have the temperatures in the 40’s during May and in the 70’s during November.  Does global warming mean pretty soon we are going to be celebrating Christmas in our bathing suits on our decks and patios??  Does it mean we will never again see a white Christmas?  This global warming stuff is a little too strange for me.  That’s all I have to say have a nice day and stay warm if you can.

The new problem that has hit the news is the flu.  Not only is this a new flu but it is one that has already killed a number of people.  The world seems to have gone crazy since the news broke about the swine flu.  People have been shown wearing masks around, avoiding shaking hands and physical contact, and taking precautions when it comes to flying or traveling to other countries.  The outbreak seems to have occurred in Mexico and has now traveled across the world.  It seems weird to have such an epidemic happen in such a short period of time.  The good news is it seems to have slown down in the rate at which it is effecting people.  We’ll see as the days go by as to how many people this flu will actually hit.

This has been a strange month for weather.  It has rained a lot which is normal for the month of April, but the changes in the temperature are so unusual.  It has been extremely cold for this time of the year. I was still wearing my winter coat up through the first two weeks of the month.  Then all of a sudden the weather was beautiful.  It was in the high 80’s yesterday.  Unfortunately, today we woke up to rain and of course cooler temperatures along with it.  The temperature has dropped 30 degrees from yesterday.  Hopefully over the next week or so warm weather will be here to stay.  At least for a few months.
